新县高级中学 Description: 新县高级中学是一所始建于1941年、具有70年历史的豫南名校，1978年被确定为信阳地区（信阳市）重点高中，2004年10月被评为信阳市示范性普通高中，2005年12月被授予河南省省级示范性普通高中。 校园占地总面积235亩，总建筑面积42000平方米。校内软件设施一流，校园宽带网、多媒体教室、新一代双向教学控制系统、智能广播系统、标准实验室等设施齐全、配备先进。 2005年5月起，学校共计征地131亩，计划投资5000万，全面实施新校区规划建设。目前，新校区一期工程已经竣工，已于2006年秋全面投入使用。校本部建设方面，顺利完成了校园周边拆迁工程，征购土地26亩。学生第二餐厅、行政办公楼和学校大门正在建设之中。 学校现有66个教学班，在校学生4500人，教职工262人，专职教师231人，其中具有高级职称教师43人,具有中级职称的教师80人。另有特级教师1人，国家级骨干教师2人，省级学科带头人、省级骨干教师10人，市级学科带头人、市级骨干教师16人；受国家级表彰3人，受省级表彰10人。
