新浦区人民政府网站 Description: 新浦区是连云港市的政治、经济、文化中心。辖区面积260.4平方公里，人口36.92万人。下辖3个乡、1个镇、6个街道办事处及1个林场，国有云台农场分布于境内。
新浦区海陆空交通十分便捷，是连接西北、中原和苏北、鲁南的主要交通门户。距港口、机场均在30公里以内，陇海铁路贯穿境内，宁连、徐连、汾灌高速公路及204、310国道纵横穿越，国家“十五”规划中的同三和连霍两条高速公路在此交汇。

新浦区具有独特的旅游资源。国家“4A”级风景名胜花果山坐落其间；始建于南北朝的南城镇是苏北地区有名的佛教、道教胜地；拥有山海、玉兰花王的东磊风景区有“蓬莱仙境”之称；被誉为“江苏九寨沟、苏北张家界”的国家“4A”渔湾风景区更是风姿卓越，是避暑纳凉的旅游胜地。
