宿州市保险行业协会成立于2007年10月18日，位于浍水路与市府巷交汇处凌枫大厦10楼1001室，是经安徽保监局、宿州市民间组织管理局批准成立的保险业自律性社团组织，业务主管单位为中国保险监督管理委员会安徽监管局。
宿州市保险行业协会2007年由10家保险公司发起成立，截止到2009年6月30日，宿州市保险行业协会共有单位会员二十一家：中国人保财险、中国人寿、中国平安财险、中国平安人寿、新华人寿、中国太平洋人寿、泰康人寿、华安保险、天安保险、安邦保险、中国人保寿险、都邦保险、国寿财险、永诚财险、国元农业保险、民生人寿、中国人保健康、民安保险、合众人寿、太平人寿、渤海财险。保险行业协会的至高权利机构是会员代表大会。理事会是会员权利的执行机构，理事会选举产生会长、副会长、常务理事。协会下设财产保险专业委员会、人寿保险专业委员会、秘书处三个机构。常设机构为秘书处，由专职秘书长负责日常工作运转。秘书长由会长、副会长提名选举产生。协会通过每年度召开理事会的形式共同商讨协会的工作，不定期召开理事会和常务理事会决定重大问题，交流情况，协调工作。
